![]() I aggree with you on the graphics and audio. They probably have an internal KPI to measure player engagement but I don't think that this is the right way to increase it. I can understand the need to stop playing the game, they added the daily M$ limits to force players to farm but I think that this leads to player burnout. ![]() I got my GCs from watching ads and finishing events/WTT/OMP. The reason I don't score higher is because I have a hard time getting rid of steering assist low. I've been playing the game for years and I score regularly in groups C and D. I don't see the game as p2w to be honest. It's baffling to me how community can still defend this game. The contrast in the menu is terrible, the saturation is too high, the tarmac is a pixelated mess, skyboxes don't blend into the gameworld properly, reflections are still broken, shadows don't work on some textures, some building cast an invisible shadow that appears only on cars. They instead decided to change something that should've been kept as it was, visuals. Now, as game aged older, newer games came out, the developer never really changed RR3's terribly slow progression and P2W economy. Visual tweaks such as increased ingame resolution, better quality textures and removed sun reflection (dunno why) were made. The sound changes were made to fix some issues with it and improve overall quality, I can't tell how bad were the issues but I don't think they improved the quality. The older soundtrack was very memorable, now it's kind of monotonous. The transition from grip to oversteer is not smooth like it was before but you can drift now. Now looking back it's kind of depends on your own preference. The game changed a lot, the physics, sounds and soundtrack are different. Despite it's predatory monetization and Pay2Win economy system, I played it because how good the quality was, the game had great visuals, the amount of details on vehicles and their cockpits were over the top. For over the course of almost 7 years I've been playing and at some points abandoning this game.
